The racist attack against Kurds in Belgium protested in Nuremberg

The racist attack against the Kurds in Belgium was protested in Nuremberg. Activists condemned the European states, saying that "every attack against the Kurds is carried out with the courage taken from your silence."

A rally was held in Nuremberg to protest the attacks by Turkish fascists against Kurds returning from the Newroz celebration in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium, on 24 March.

The protest was organized by the Democratic Kurdish Community Center (DKTM). The representative of the DKTM said: "This attack was carried out on the instructions of fascist Erdoğan, encouraged by Europe's hypocritical policies towards the Kurds. This and similar attacks are not the first and will not be the last, unfortunately." The representative added that European states' silence in the face of these fascist attacks is what harms Kurds the most.

The Democratic Union Party PYD representative said: "The Kurdish people are shouting for their freedom by using their democratic rights. Unable to tolerate the resistance shown by our people during Newroz, the fascist Turkish state is attacking the Kurds by releasing fascists into the streets. And, unfortunately, European countries do not see these attacks and remain silent about these massacres, like they remained silent about the killings carried out by the Turkish state in Paris between 2013 and 2022. Every attack against the Kurds is carried out with the courage taken from your silence."
