Shengal Council of Tribes visits TEV-DEM in Qamishlo
During the meeting between the Shengal Council of Tribes and TEV-DEM in Qamishlo, the current situation in Shengal and the genocide committed by ISIS on 3 August 2014 were discussed.
A delegation from the Shengal Council of Tribes visited TEV-DEM (Democratic Society Movement) Headquarters in Qamishlo.
The delegation from Shengal included Shêx Seîd Milhim, spokesperson of the Council of Tribes, and Dexîl Murad, a member of the Council.
The delegation visited TEV-DEM Headquarters in Qamishlo and was welcomed by TEV-DEM Co-Chairs Rûken Ehmed and Xerîb Hiso and TEV-DEM General Liaison Office member Ayid Îbrahîm.
During the meeting, the current situation in Shengal and the genocide committed by ISIS on 3 August 2014 were discussed.
The delegation from Shengal expressed their thanks to the Northern and Eastern Syria components for their moral support and solidarity with the Yazidi community.
