SDF takes control of base evacuated by Damascus regime in Raqqa

The SDF announced that it had taken the necessary measures in the region, following the news that the Damascus government had evacuated their base in the south of Raqqa and left it in the hands of ISIS mercenaries.

The SDF Press Center made a statement regarding the news that the government of Damascus evacuated the Resafa base in the south of Raqqa and left the base in the hands of ISIS mercenaries.

Stating that it is suspicious for the government to evacuate these bases at a time when the operations in Sina Prison are continuing, the SDF announced that its forces have taken the necessary measures to prevent any security problems.

4 more mercenaries captured, 9 hostages freed

On the other hand, 4 more mercenaries were caught in the operations carried out by the SDF and Internal Security Forces in Hesekê. The SDF took 8 more wards of the prison under control and captured over 250 more mercenaries.

The number of mercenaries who surrendered since the start of the operation has reached 550.

The SDF also liberated 9 hostages held by the mercenaries.
