SDF shoots down Turkish TB-2 drone

The Syrian Democratic Forces released footage of the shooting down of a Turkish TB-2 "killer" drone.

The attack by the Turkish army and its SNA mercenaries on the strategically important Tishreen Dam continues.

The SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) released a video of the shooting down of a Turkish "Bayraktar TB-2" drone. The TB-2 "killer" drones form the backbone of Turkish air strikes and also played an important role in the Turkish-Azerbaijani attack on Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

Symbolically, they are particularly important for the AKP-MHP regime, as the regime spreads the myth that the TB-2 is a purely Turkish production, thus fueling nationalism. In reality, the drone relies on the importation of components and technologies from different countries (UK, Germany, Austria for example).

TB-2 drones carry several air-to-ground missiles and are used in particular for targeted attacks on civilian representatives and members of the defense forces. The shooting down shows that the SDF has efficient and effective air defense systems.
