SDF says clearing and security operations in Sina prison continue

The SDF Press centre said in a statement that “following regaining control of Sina prison and following the surrender of about 3,500 terrorist detainees” the clearing and security operations inside the prison continue.

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press centre said that after regaining control of Sina prison in Hesekê they are now “involved in a thorough sweep operation as well as security and military clearing operations in the prison dormitories where the terrorist attackers were barricaded.”
The statement said that “following regaining control of Sina prison and following the surrender of about 3,500 terrorist detainees,” clearing operation inside the prison continues.

The SDF added that “during these operations, our forces uncovered camouflaged terrorist enclaves in the prison’s northern dormitories where between 60 and 90- estimated terrorists barricaded themselves and maintained a distance from the clash. Our forces have made a call for safe surrender to these terrorists, and if they do not surrender, we will deal with them firmly.”
