The resistance in the Tishrin Dam continues against the attacks carried out by the Turkish state and its proxies against Northern and Eastern Syria.
SDF fighter Bawer Efrin is taking part in the Tishrin resistance. He spoke to ANF about the ongoing war. Efrin said that the people of Northern and Eastern Syria and the SDF-YPJ fighters have been displaying relentless resistance for two months and that this resistance is still ongoing. He added: "The occupying Turkish state wants to commit genocide by attacking us and our people with all its technology. Our fallen comrades responded to these attacks and increased the resistance. The fact that the Tishrin resistance has lasted this long is thanks to our comrades who paid a very high price."
Efrin added: "We paid a high price, but this does not mean that our will be broken. We continue our struggle much stronger after every comrade who falls as a martyr or is injured. Our people support the defense forces and the fighters with a self-sacrificing spirit. The Turkish state wanted to break the will of our people by attacking them with its planes, tanks and howitzers. Turkey wants to force people to migrate from their lands. Despite all these attacks, the people do not give up their will and do not abandon their fighters."
Efin continued: "We are in Tishrin and our resistance continues, and it will continue until necessary. The Turkish state wanted to break our will in the first days of the attacks, but our will is greater than the technology of the Turkish state. We have a philosophy, an ideology, and we are fighting on this basis. We will fight until the end. We will insist on our resistance against the enemy until we take revenge for our martyrs."
