SDF commander Mazlum Abdi has described the wave of attacks by Turkey on the autonomous region of Northern and Eastern Syria, which has continued since Wednesday evening, as a war crime.

Mazlum Abdi, General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), has described the wave of attacks by the Turkish army on the autonomous region of Northern and Eastern Syria, which has continued since Wednesday evening, as a war crime.

Commander Abdi said on X: "Turkey is indiscriminately and unjustifiably bombing our areas, attacking civilians, service providers and health centers. This is a war crime. We have repeatedly demonstrated our willingness to engage in dialogue, and we say that our forces are ready to defend our people and our land."

At least 12 civilians have been killed and 25 injured in the attacks. The Turkish state justified the attacks on Northern Syria and South Kurdistan with the attack on the state-owned arms company TUSAŞ near Ankara on Wednesday.
