As part of the ongoing counter terrorism operations against ISIS remnants and cells, the SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) Military Operations Teams (TOL) conducted, today July 18, a successful anti-ISIS operation in al-Karamah district, east of Raqqa.
According to SDF Media Center, the operation resulted in capturing an ISIS cell operative named Fayez Abid al-Muhammed, originally from Khaneiz village in Raqqa. He was responsible for planning and preparing for terrorist attacks targeting civilians, military forces, and civic services facilities in the region.
“Our SDF forces reaffirm their commitment to pursuing ISIS remnants, dismantling their cells, and eradicating them,” the statement underlined.
