People in North-East Syria visit cemeteries of martyrs

On the first day of Eid al-Adha, people in North-East Syria visited the cemeteries of martyrs to commemorate their loved ones.

Early in the morning, people in North-East visited the Şehit Xebat Dêrik Cemetery of Martyrs in Dêrik, Şehit Dilşêr Cemetery of Martyrs in Tirbespiyê, Şehit Delîl Sarûxan Cemetery of Martyrs in Qamişlo, Şehit Îsmaîl Cemetery of Martyrs in Amûdê, Şehit Dijwar Cemetery of Martyrs in Hesekê, Şehit Rustem Cûdî Cemetery of Martyrs in Dirbêsiyê, Şehit Dicle Cemetery of Martyrs in Kobanê, and the graves of martyrs in Til Temir, Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, Shaddadi, Tabqa, and Aleppo.


In addition to the families and relatives of the martyrs, the visits were attended by members of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, women's and youth organizations, YPG-YPJ (People’s-Women’s Protection Units), and Internal Security Forces.


The visitors were welcomed by members of the Council of Martyrs' Families, internal security forces, and military personnel.

The first holiday greetings also took place at the martyrs' cemeteries. Prayers were said, and candy was distributed to children.
