Omar: Russia wants to give Ain Issa to the Damascus government

Russia is putting pressure on SDF to give Ain Issa to the Damascus government, said Amina Omar, Syrian Democratic Council co-chairperson.

The Turkish army and its gangs intensified hostilities in the region of the Ain Issa district in northern Syria. The Turkish state is also using fighter jets and reconnaissance planes in its attacks.

‘’The Turkish state aims to invade the new regions of Northern and Eastern Syria by means of these attacks and to separate the strategic M4 highway from of Northern and Eastern Syria by eliminating the security of the region," Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) co-chair Amina Omar told ANHA.

'RUSSIA EVADES RESPONSIBILITY'

Omar pointed out that Russia is responsible for the attacks on Ain Issa, adding; "Russia is obliged to defend Ain Issa against the attacks of the Turkish state."

Russia did not act with responsibility and stop the attacks of the Turkish state, noted the MSD co-chair and added, "Russia is exerting pressure on the Syrian Democratic Forces to give the district to the government of Damascus."
