New convoy of civilians arrives at Tishrin Dam on day 21 of vigil against attacks

People from Hesekê, Til Temir, Dirbêsiyê and Til Birak cities of Cizîr Canton have arrived at the Tishrin Dam where a vigil by civilians has been continuing for 21 days.

Since 8 January, civilians from North-East Syria have been holding a vigil at the Tishrin Dam to protect their territory alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Women's Defense Units (YPJ) who are confronting attacks by the Turkish army and allied mercenaries called the Syrian National Army (SNA).

Hundreds of people from Hesekê, Til Temir, Dirbêsiyê and Til Birak cities of Cizîr Canton arrived at the dam on Tuesday to participate in the vigil to defend the dam and to express their opposition to the attacks by the occupying Turkish state and allied mercenaries.
