Local sources reported that mercenaries affiliated with the occupying Turkish state kidnapped two citizens named Mihemed Zimcî Murad (35) and his brother Fayîq Zemcî Murad (33) in the Sefra town of Cindirês city. The fate of both brothers is unknown.

The Turkish state established a complete terrorist regime in Afrin, which it occupied in 2018. According to the Syrian Human Rights Organization, at least 10 thousand 332 people were kidnapped, and 463 people were murdered between 2018 and April 2024.
