March against occupation: Resistance will bring victory

People in Deir ez-Zor and Til Berak marched against the invasion attacks of the Turkish state, vowing that the invaders will be defeated by resistance.

Hundreds of people, members of civil organisations, parties and local tribal elders gathered at Firin Junction in Til Berak district of Cizre canton and marched against the invasion attacks of the Turkish state.

Making a statement in front of the Security Forces Junction, Til Berak District Council Co-Chair Ebdurehman El Salih said, "With these attacks, the Turkish government is conducting a policy of starvation and migration against the people of the region. It wants to provoke the people against the autonomous administration and create discord between the institutions."

Al-Saleh condemned the silence of the international community in the face of the increasingly ongoing attacks, crimes and terrorist acts of the Turkish state against the region and called on the guarantor powers to stop the occupying state and prevent these inhumane acts.

The Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement and the Young Women's Union marched at the Martyrs' Crossroads in Sewa town of Deir ez-Zor canton. Hundreds of people participated in the protest march.

Speaking on behalf of the Youth Movement, Ali El Ehmed said that the attacks on the region aimed at displacement and migration. El Ehmed vowed that the struggle and resistance of the youth will continue and the attacks will be defeated by the will of the people in the region.
