According to the Russian media, a landmine exploded during the passage of a military vehicle of the Damascus government forces in the countryside of Deir ez-Zor on Monday.

It is reported that 5 soldiers were killed, and an officer was injured in the explosion near the town of Ayash, 15 km northwest of Deir ez-Zor.
