Kurdish Conference in North-East Syria postponed

The planned conference between Kurdish parties and political forces in North-East Syria was postponed due to lack of time and coinciding with Newroz.

Kurdish parties and political forces in Rojava (West Kurdistan), excluding ENKS (Kurdish National Council in Syria), held a meeting on March 6 to discuss the developments in Syria and Kurdish national unity. The Preparatory Committee for the Conference of Kurdish Parties and Political Forces in North-East Syria then announced that a conference would be held in Qamishlo on the 20th of this month.

According to reports, the conference has been postponed to a yet unknown date due to lack of time and coinciding with Newroz, Kurdish New Year, on 21 March.
