In a statement about Allouk water station closed down by Turkish state and its mercenary gangs, Heseke Canton Council stated that the international community is a party to the crime committed in Heseke.
Heseke Canton Council issued a statement treating Turkish state and mercenary gangs closing Allouk water station. The Council, recalling that Turkish state and mercenary gang closed this station many times after Serekaniye was invaded, called upon the international community to break the silence on this issue.
The statement said: “Closing Allouk Station is a crime against humanity. In a period of ever-increasing coronavirus cases and in Ramadan month, restriction of water supply has caused inconvenience in social life.
International community keeping silent on these crimes of Turkish state must be ashamed. These countries, so-called defenders of human rights, are accomplices to these crimes.
The international community must immediately put pressure on Turkish state and take action to force the Turkish state to release water. Otherwise, 1 million 500 thousand people will be deprived of the water. This is a serious humanitarian crisis.”
The Allouk water station stationed in the east of Serekaniye was contained by taken by the Turkish state forces and allied mercenaries on 9 October 2020. The station supplies water to Heseke and the regions of Hol, Eriş and Washokani camps where migrants live.
Heseke Canton Council declared a state of emergency after a meeting with the Water Directorate earlier this week.
