Internal Security Forces seize ISIS ammunition warehouse in Raqqa countryside

Internal Security Forces continue their operations against ISIS in North-East Syria.

The Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria have seized on April 25th a warehouse for the manufacture of explosive shells and devices belonging to ISIS mercenaries in the countryside of the Karama town, north of Raqqa.

According to the statement published by the Public Information Center of the Internal Security Forces, the following ammunition was seized in the warehouse:

Medium mortars (111)

Large mortars (5)

Mortar batteries (10)

Gas cylinders (7)

Homemade rockets (3)

Small missiles (4)

Tank missiles (1)

The statement said that the ammunition seized here was transferred to the place designated for collecting the remnants of ISIS mercenaries, far from civilian settlements, to be destroyed.

The operation was carried out following an activity of ISIS in the Karama region.
