High Electoral Commission calls on international organizations to monitor electoral process

The High Electoral Commission in Northern and Eastern Syria called on international organizations to monitor the process of the local elections to be held on 11 June.

The High Electoral Commission in the North and East Syria region called on international organizations to monitor the progress of the local election process.

The High Electoral Commission statement said: "Based on the decision issued by the High Electoral Commission in the Northern and Eastern Syria region, which includes holding municipal elections in the NE Syria region, on 11 June, nomination of candidates has been opened in addition to the distribution of electoral cards and we continue to work to identify and name polling centers."

The High Electoral Commission confirmed: "Because the goal of the High Electoral Commission in NE Syria is to make the electoral process a success, and to devote efforts to preserve its integrity, transparency and independence, we call on international organizations to monitor the progress of the local elections process. We are also honored to invite you to participate in monitoring the electoral process according to the following:

-Monitoring the progress of the electoral process.

-Monitoring the opening of polling stations and ensuring their preparations.

-Follow up on the voting process and ensure that appropriate conditions are provided for voters to cast their votes.

-Monitoring the vote counting process and ensuring its integrity."
