While the attacks by the occupying Turkish state and allied Syrian National Army (SNA) mercenaries on the Tishrin Dam have continued for days, fighters of the Manbij Military Council launched a clearing operation with a counter-move and cleared the Qişlê village of invaders today.
Latest images from the area, where resistance against occupation has continued for 15 days, show ongoing clashes in the village. In addition to heavy gunfire, the sounds of individual weapons are heard.
A fighter of the Manbij Military Council stated that mercenaries had been positioned in the village, which they have now liberated from the invaders.
Stating that the fighters carried out the operation in a sacrificial spirit, the fighter said: “The comrades are engaged in clashes at the moment, putting up selfless resistance. They have already captured many places in the village. No one should think that we have no power. We will never allow the mercenaries to take back these places.”
