Explosion of ISIS mine injures 13-year-old in Til Temir

A mine left behind by ISIS during attacks on Til Temir exploded this morning, injuring a minor.

13-year-old Husam Mutleq was injured by an explosion in the village of Wadî Necme to the north-west of Til Temir district in Heseke Canton on Sunday.

According to reports from the ground, Mutleq was injured as a result of the explosion of a mine left behind by ISIS during the mercenaries’ attacks on the district in 2015.

The child suffered injuries from shrapnel pieces hitting his body. He was taken to Lêgerîn Hospital for treatment. Details about his condition were not immediately available.
