Explosion in Washokani camp results in casualties

An explosion in the Washokani IDP camp has reportedly killed three minors.

An explosion in the Washokani Camp for displaced people near Hesekê in north-eastern Syria left three people dead on Monday. The explosion in the western area of the camp was triggered by a motorbike, the camp co-chairwoman Ela Cemîl announced.

Sources from the Kurdish Red Crescent organisation Heyva Sor a Kurd say that three minors were killed. The detonation was triggered near a parked vehicle, which was damaged. The security forces of the autonomous administration are investigating, but have not yet released a statement yet.
