According to the Hawarnews news agency (ANHA), the strike targeted an office building in the town of al-Hurriya. Information about the extent of the attack or about any injuries was not immediately available.
Al-Hurriya is located about 50 kilometres northwest of Tabqa city and is situated east of the Euphrates. Since the beginning of the offensive by the Turkish-controlled jihadist group ‘Syrian National Army’ (SNA) on Manbij and the Tishrin Dam, attacks in the region have become more frequent.
