Deir ez-Zor Women's Committee holds dialogue workshop

The Deir ez-Zor Women's Committee held a dialogue workshop with the slogan "Politics and women's cause in the opinion of Leader Öcalan".

Deir ez-Zor Women's Committee organized a workshop with the slogan "Politics and women's cause in the opinion of Leader Öcalan".

Representatives of the Women's Committee, representatives of the Zenubian Women's Community Bureau, political parties, civil and military council members attended the workshop. The workshop was held in the hall of Deir ez-Zor Civil Assembly.

Fatme Merwan, co-chair of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council, who made the first speech, said: “The dominant system has been neglecting women for 5,000 years and presenting them as slaves at home. However, during this period and thanks to the ideas of Leader Abdullah Öcalan, women have played a leading role in all areas of life.”

Fatme continued: “The source of the women's liberation cause is Leader Öcalan's ideas, because Leader Öcalan paved the way for women's freedom and advancement.”

The workshop ended with important decisions taken. The decisions taken are as follows:

1-The Autonomous Administration should work to remove the PKK from the terrorist lists in the international arena.

2- Working for the freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

3- Carrying out work for international parties, human rights organizations and the UN to fulfill their role in the resolution of the Leader Abdullah Öcalan case.

4- Establishing a Committee for the Protection of Women's Rights to complain to the Turkish state and present it to the relevant courts around the world.

5-Working at the international and diplomatic level to encourage global and international public opinion to support the cause of Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

6- Enlarging the struggle of the people by taking different actions.

7- Organizing panels, workshops, political, social and cultural events with all the activists in the region to interpret the ideas and philosophy of Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

8- Documenting the crimes, political and military violations of the government of Damascus, the Turkish state, Iran and Iraq against women and submitting them to the International Criminal Court and human rights institutions.

9-Starting hashtags for petition campaigns for the freedom of Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

10- Working on women's law through law and commissions based on the ideas of Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

11-Building a free society based on Leader Abdullah Öcalan's principle of freedom of women and a free equal life and implementing the attainment of their rights in practice. Men should be free and believe that their freedom depends on women's freedom.

12-Support women's revolts around the world.

13-Try to build a moral, political and ecological society.
