The Women's Office of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) and the Zenubiya Women's Community held a meeting in Raqqa, attended by many women activists.

The participants discussed the obstacles women face in Raqqa and Tabqa, and the methods for empowering women politically, socially and economically. The participants emphasized that active coordination mechanisms should be established among women's organizations to strengthen the place of women in society and support women's rights.

The meeting established a committee to strengthen the role of women in all areas of life, increase their participation in decision-making mechanisms and provide a common vision for a better future.
