Call for international action against Turkish massacres in North-East Syria

The Internal Security Forces called on the international community to take action against the massacre perpetrated by Turkey in the town of Zirgan, calling it “a clear violation of international humanitarian law”.

Last night, Turkish UCAVs bombed a house in Um Hermel village in the countryside of Zirgan city in Cizre Canton, killing 3 people from the same family, including a child. In addition, 8 people were wounded, some of them in serious condition.

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria condemned the massacre, which it described as “a clear violation of international humanitarian law”.

The Internal Security Forces called on the international community and all humanitarian and legal organizations to take immediate action to condemn these crimes against humanity and sentence the occupying Turkish state for its crimes.

On the other hand, an unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) of the occupying Turkish state bombed a marketplace in the town of Sirrin, south of Kobanê. According to initial reports, at least 6 civilians lost their lives.
