Afrin refugees in Shehba salute the guerrilla resistance

Afrin residents staying in Serdem Camp saluted the guerrilla resistance against the invasion attacks of the invading Turkish state against the Medya Defense Areas.

Refugees from Afrin, who stay in Serdem Camp in Shehba, marched to protest the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state. Refugees saluted the resistance of the guerrilla.

During the march refugees carried photos of president Öcalan and banners paying tribute to the guerrilla's resistance.

After a minute of silence in front of the Camp Council, Hesen Osman, from the Camp Administration denounced the attacks of the Turkish state against the Medya Defense Zones, Osman underlined that the Kurdish people will continue their resistance against the invaders under all circumstances.

Stating that new conspiracies against the Kurdish people are in progress, Osman added: “The enemy wants to assimilate the Kurdish people in their own lands. There have been conspiracies against the Kurdish people for centuries. The international community is keeping silent about the attacks of the Turkish state. But these attacks will not succeed in their purpose. The Kurdish people will continue their resistance with the philosophy of President Öcalan."

Speaking afterwards, Saliha Mihemed, one of the Kongra Star executive, saluted the heroic resistance of the guerrilla against the attacks of the Turkish state. Drawing attention to the strong will of women, Mihemed underlined that women resisted by taking arms in order to ensure the safety of the people. Underlining that the Turkish state will never succeed to make the Kurdish people bow, Saliha said: “The Kurdish people are proud of their heroes in the mountains. They will protect and grow their struggle."
