ISIS mercenaries targeted a tanker on Shaddadi-Dashisha road on Thursday.

According to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Press Centre, the driver of the tanker en route from Aleppo, Ibrahim Shihab, lost his life and the tanker was damaged in the attack.

The SDF said that fighting broke out when the Self-Defence Forces responded to the attack and one fighter was martyred.

Drawing attention to the threat posed by the ISIS cells in the region, SDF said: “Along with the continuous attacks of the occupying Turkish state against our lands, the threat of the terrorist organisation ISIS cells is also growing. For this reason, it is necessary to take continuous military steps against the mercenaries.”
