A civilian killed, another wounded by explosion in Amûdê

A young man was killed and an elderly woman was wounded due to an explosion of unknown origin in Mesakîn neighbourhood of Amûdê.

An explosion occurred in the Mesakîn neighbourhood of Amûdê, the cause of which has not been determined yet. Two people were injured as a result of the explosion on Thursday.

It is learned that 35-year-old Hanî Xelef, who was seriously wounded, died in the hospital in Qamishlo, while 74-year-old Tirfe Colî, who also sustained an injury, was discharged from the Amûdê Hospital after receiving treatment.

Yesterday, a mine planted in a car exploded in the Enteriye neighborhood of Qamishlo city, claiming the lives of 45-year-old Xalide Mihemed Şerif and her 24-year-old son Ednan Silêman.
