The march to Amara organized by the People’s Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) Youth Assembly to mark the 76th birthday of Abdullah Öcalan continued on its third day. The young participants attended the 4 April Festival held in the (Halfeti) Xelfetî, in Urfa.

The message that Abdullah Öcalan sent to young people was shared at the festival, and read as follows:

"April is a Renaissance for me, a rebirth. The young people's march is a march towards freedom. Marching towards freedom is meaningful. Wherever I go, I organize myself. I had a group that moved with me when I went to school. This is how socialization happens. I have been doing this since my childhood.

Socialism means society, communalism. Socialism means socialization. In Kurdistan, politics should be done with this understanding. This is called communal, socialist politics. This is achieved by organizing. Organization is the most important job. If you cannot do that, I will criticize you greatly. Therefore, you will organize everywhere. I support your work and send my greetings."
