"In recent days, our anti-narcotics forces carried out operations against drug traffickers and distributors in Hesekê city," the Internal Security Forces Press Center said in a statement on Wednesday.

"As a result of the operation, 14 people were detained and a quantity of drugs were seized," the statement read.

The statement included the following details: "Among the seized materials are the following: 922 captagon pills, 4,355 different anesthetic pills, 3 shotguns, 12 22mm shotgun bullets, 4 7mm pistol bullets, 9 mm pistols, 9 cell phones, 3 pistols, electronic scales and 317,700 Syrian liras.

All 14 drug dealers and distributors were referred to court. We will continue to catch drug distributors and traffickers to prevent the dangerous disease in our society."
