Young people marched for Öcalan in Girê Spî

Speakers said that the martyrs had sacrificed their lives for the end of terrorism and demanded an end of the isolation regime imposed on Öcalan.

The Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement organised a march in Girê Spî canton to protest against the isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Hundreds of young people and citizens from the Euphrates region joined the march.

The march set off from al-Elskan boulevard in the city of Girê Spî. Slogans supporting the resistance of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the struggle of the SDF fighters against the DAESH mercenaries in Deir Ez-zor were chanted.

Activists were holding photographs of Abdullah Öcalan and flags of the Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement.

When the march reached the municipality boulevard, it turned into a rally.

Martyrs Families Association member Meyada Naman and Syrian Youth Movement executives delivered speeches.

Speakers said that the martyrs had sacrificed their lives for the end of terrorism and demanded an end of the isolation regime imposed on Öcalan.

The speeches also reiterated that young people would stand against the conspiracies of all the occupiers, especially the Turkish state.
