YPS-Jin Martyr Arjin Peşeng Revenge Unit issued a written statement claiming responsibility for actions it carried out in Adıyaman, Çorum and Kocaeli.

The statement said: "YPS-Jin Martyr Arjin Peşeng Revenge Unit members carried out actions in Adıyaman, Çorum and Kocaeli within the scope of the 'revenge against colonialists and agent-collaborators’ initiative launched in memory of Arjin Peşeng, who fell martyr in Cizre self-government.”

The statement gave the following details about the actions:

“ADIYAMAN

On 30 May, our members carried out a sabotage action against the Cumhuriyet gymnasium where ISIS mercenaries are located in Old Samsat Avenue in Adıyaman. Our members had followed the movements of the ISIS mercenaries for some time and established they were located in the gymnasium by the AKP. While the number of ISIS mercenaries killed or wounded as a result of the action could not be established, a significant part of the gymnasium was destroyed.

ÇORUM

On the night of 30 May, a block of workplaces belonging to AKP collaborators was targeted in Çorum, Küçük Sanayi (Small Industry) Site. The sabotage action resulted in 5 workplaces being destroyed.

KOCAELI

On 27 May, our Unit members carried out an action against the house of an Osmanli Ocaklari (Ottoman Hearts) member in Kocaeli. As a result of the action, the house was severely damaged while we could not establish what happened to the fascist man.”

At the end of the statement the Revenge Unit also said: "Racist attacks against the Kurdish language, culture and identity are increasing by the day. Barış Çakan was murdered for listening to Kurdish music. It is a murder that reveals the genocide mentality pursued towards our people. We will take revenge of Çakan."
