YPG/YPJ fighters partaking in the Operation Cizire Storm to liberate Deir ez-Zor territory from ISIS spoke to the ANF on the anniversary of 15 February 1999’s international plot against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

“ALL OPPRESSED PEOPLES BASE ON THE LEADER’S PHILOSOPHY”

CUDİ AGİRİ: The sovereign powers and the Turkish state took our Leader captive because they feared his philosophy which is for all peoples. We as YPG fighters also base on the Leader’s philosophy.

Our Leader is subjected to aggravated isolation. All our labor, work and effort is for the freedom of the leader. Leader Apo is the leader of all oppressed peoples.

ZÊRÎN QAMİŞLO: As YPJ fighters, we have participated in all stages of the Deir ez-Zor campaign, and frustrated countless attacks of ISIS. In our resistance we base on Leader Apo’s philosophy. Our Leader is held in captivity for 19 years now. Today, the invading Turkish state is attacking Afrin. They are targeting Northern Syria and Rojava because they fear Leader Apo’s ideas. We promise that we will fight until our leader and people are free.

“AFRIN ATTACK TARGETS ALL THE GAINS OF THE KURDS”

HESEN: Leader Apo is held in captivity for 19 years and we do not hear from him for years. Turkey’s attack against Afrin is also connected to the international plot. This is because of the fact that all the gains of the Kurds have been achieved thanks to the philosophy of Leader Apo. This is the reason why the invading Turkish state is attacking Afrin.

NUCAN QAMİŞLO: Attacks of the enemy continue in Deir ez-Zor. The enemy is attacking in several areas in Afrin as well. These attacks are connected to the plot. They are attacking because they fear the ideas of our Leader.

“WE WILL CONTINUE RESISTING AS LONG AS TURKISH ATTACKS CONTINUE”

SİDAR STÊR: The international plot of 15 February 1999 had one single purpose; to prevent the Leader’s idea and philosophy from spreading but it didn’t work. With the resistance of freedom fighters, we are carrying out the Deir ez-Zor campaign with the philosophy of the Leader in 2018. A great resistance is mounted in order for the Leader’s philosophy to spread to the entire world.

SERHED SEYDO: February 15 is a black day for us. The sovereign powers wanted to prevent the Leader’s philosophy and idea from reaching out to humanity. Yet, the struggle of those who base on the Leader’s philosophy continues today. For seven years, YPG fighters engaged in numerous campaigns and achieved numerous gains. Today in Deir ez-Zor, we are fighting against the enemies of the Leader’s philosophy, which we take as a basis and will continue to do so. Our struggle continues against those that seek to eliminate the Leader’s philosophy.

EVİN TIL BEREK: Our Leader is in captivity for 19 years. The Turkish state is attacking Rojava and Afrin this violently today for fear of the Leader’s philosophy.
