Young people in Berlin and Stuttgart protest isolation of Öcalan

Kurdish youth movements TCŞ and TEKO-JIN organized protests demanding freedom for Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan in Berlin and Stuttgart.

The action organized by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer activists with the slogan "End Isolation, Fascism, Occupation - Bi Hev Re Serhildan" was held on Wednesday evening.

The action, which started with a minute of silence in memory of the Kurdistan martyrs, continued with a statement made on behalf of the youth organizations.

In the statement emphasizing that it is time to ensure the freedom of Kurdish people's leader Öcalan, the youth also reacted against the KDP.

Young people marching after the statement carried banners reading "Freedom for Öcalan" and "End to Isolation, Fascism, Occupation - Bi Hev Re Serhildan".

Internationalist youth and many anti-fascist groups also joined the march.

The march ended after half an hour at Franz-Neuman Platz.
