Week of action in Marseille ends today

A week of action in South France ends today with a rally.

Kurds from Bordeaux, Montpellier and Marseille, Tolulouse and Draguignan have been taking part in the week-long sit-in in Vieux-Port Square in Marseille for five days.


The action started every day at 10 am and ended at 5 pm. During the week of action, Arin Mirkan Women's Council gathered signatures within the scope of the “100 reasons to prosecute the dictator” campaign, while activists engaged with the people explaining about the isolation imposed on Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan, his philosophy as well as news about the political situation in Rojava, South Kurdistan and Turkey-North Kurdistan.

The action ends today with a mass rally to be held in Vieux Port square.
