Second day of sit-in in Frankfurt demands freedom for Abdullah Öcalan
The demonstration in Frankfurt for the freedom of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan is on its second day.
The action promoted by the FCDK / KAWA assembly components in Frankfurt demanding Freedom for Öcalan will continue till 27 February. On Tuesday the action was held in Hauptwache.
On the first day of the sit-in, a group of 30 activists from the various assembly components of Frankfurt, Giessen, Mannheim, Mainz, Darmstadt and Saarbrücken joined the action. On the second day it was the turn of activists from Frankfurt, Giessen, Mannheim, Mainz and Saarbrücken.
Speaking at the action, FCDK-KAWA co-chair Emin Deniz said: "The time to free leader Abdullah Öcalan is now.”
The action will continue until 4 pm today.
