Vigil in front of the Swedish Parliament demands “Freedom for Öcalan”

Kurds and their friends continue their actions all around the world demanding freedom for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Kurds living in Stockholm have launched a two-day vigil at the Mynttorget Square in front of the Swedish Parliament on Friday afternoon.

The action demanding physical freedom for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan is being carried out in a tent set up in the square.

The activists informed the passers-by about the isolation imposed on Öcalan and his importance for the achievement of peace in the region, as well as the Turkish massacres in Kurdistan territory.

The vigil will continue today. The Democratic Kurdish Community Center of Sweden has called on the Kurds living in Stockholm to join the action in the afternoon.
