In Austrian capital city Vienna, soccer team FC Kurd, comprised of Kurds from Rojava and Bashur known to be close to the KDP, challenged the FC Brigitteneus team, which is made up of Turks, in the amateur league group two days ago.

Racist Turkish fans rushed to the pitch with knives and sticks and attacked the Kurdish players, fans and families. An investigation has been launched on the racist group who fled the scene with the arrival of the police.

The Kurdish team captain and coach called on the Kurds to unite against racist attacks.
