Turkish lira continues to fall

The Turkish lira continues to fall. Currently, 9.56 lira is equivalent to one euro.

Although Turkey, with the help of the German government, was able to largely prevent sanctions from being imposed at the EU summit at the end of last week, the Turkish lira continues to plummet. At the moment, the dollar price is at 7.87 lira and the euro price is at 9.56 lira.

The decline of the Turkish Lira leads to massive economic problems and a clear increase in the price of products, while the purchasing power of the people in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan continues to decline.

Turkey has been in a continuous economic downward spiral at least since the unilateral termination of the ceasefire with the PKK in 2015, the implementation of the presidential system and the expansion of fascism.
