Turkish-backed gangs release joint declaration on Aleppo attack

Nureddin Zengi Brigade and other gang groups which Turkey calls “moderate opposition” released a joint statement with Al-Nusra regarding the Aleppo attack.

While the gang groups within the body of the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA), which act in Turkey's 'Euphrates Shield' operation, continue joining the Al-Nusra (Jabhat Fateh al-Sham) one by one, the other parallel gang groups are also acting together with Al-Nusra.

These groups, which Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan tries to impose on the world as “moderate opposition”, have released a joint statement on their attack on Aleppo together with Al-Nusra.

The joint statement emphasizes that an expansive aggression has been launched against Aleppo, reports that further attacks will be carried out on mainly old Aleppo neighborhoods, Al-Masharika, Al-İzaa, Seyfu’d-Devle, Salahaddin and Al-Amiriyya regions, and calls on their followers in these areas to take security measures.

The declaration bears the signatures of 10 separate groups, which are:

Al-Nusra (Jabhat Fateh al-Sham), Ahrar al Sham, Nureddin Zengi Brigade, Jabhat al-Shamiyah, Jaysh al-Islam, Katibat-ul Abu Omar, Al Fajru’l Awwal, Fustaqim Battalion and Mujahids of Sham.
