Turkish attacks on Bashur protested in Stuttgart and Marseille

Activists of the Kurdish youth movement have protested against the Turkish attacks on southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

On April 15, Turkish combat drones attacked the area around the Maxmur refugee camp, killing three civilians. Concurrent attacks by the Turkish army have targeted the area of Zinê Wertê in Qandil region.

Despite the pandemic, protests against Turkey’s attacks are taking place in many places around the world. Activists of the Kurdish youth movements TCŞ and JCA protested against Turkey’s attacks in Stuttgart city of Germany and Marseille city of France.

In Stuttgart, the activists hung a banner on an overpass, which read “Erdoğan plans wars in times of Corona”.

Kurdish activists also hung a banner and sprayed slogans on the walls in Marseille in protest at Turkey’s genocidal attacks against the Kurdish people in three parts of Kurdistan.
