The number of children above the age of 15 and unemployed in Turkey in September 2018 increased by 330 thousand persons compared to the same period last year, and reached 3 million 749 thousand people.

Unemployment rate increased by 0.8 percentage points to 11.4 percent.

Non-agricultural unemployment rate was estimated to be 13.5 percent with an increase of 0.7 percentage points, while the unemployment rate of young population (15-24 years) increased by 1.6 percent reaching 21.6 percent.

In the 15-64 age group, this rate increased by 0.9 points reaching 11.7 percent.
