Towards the end in Tabqa: Three more neighborhoods cleared

Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) fighters cleared three more neighborhoods in Tabqa. 3 tanks, 1 panzer and 2 BMP-type armored vehicles have been seized in the clashes where 48 gang members were killed and 5 taken prisoner.

Albu Isa, Al Heso and Al Selam neighborhoods of Tabqa saw intense clashes between SDF fighters and gangs throughout the night yesterday and they have now been liberated. In clashes in all three neighborhoods and the Sinaa (Industry) region, the fighters seized several armored vehicles and large amounts of ammunition. 48 gang members were killed in the clashes and 5 more were captured alive.

The inventory seized in the clashes is as follows: 3 tanks, 52 tank missiles, 1 Panzer, 2 BMP-type armored vehicles, 1 fire truck, 1 Grad missile, 1 armored bomb-laden vehicle, 1 SPG 9 anti-tank gun, 1 1.25mm DHSK, 1 A-4 heavy machine gun and large amounts of ammunition, 1 Kalashnikov, 1 pistol, 5 grenades, 1 14.5mm DHSK barrel, 1500 rounds for BKCs, 1 case of grenade launcher rounds, 2 sacks of TNT, 2 sacks of mortar detonators, 1 suicide vet, 1 night and 1 day vision binoculars and some sabotage equipment.

As a result of search missions in the six previously liberated neighborhoods, 24 bodies, 18 Kalashnikovs, 2 BKC guns and large amounts of ammunition were seized by the fighters.

Search efforts are reported to have started in newly liberated neighborhoods.
