Two indictments were prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against 42 people who were arrested for trying to march from Saraçhane to Taksim on 1 May, Labor Day in Istanbul.

404 years of prison request for 30 people

The first indictment was prepared against 30 people. In the indictment, a total of 404 years of imprisonment was requested for 30 people. The prosecutor's office requested imprisonment from 3 years and 9 months to 13 years and 6 months each for 30 people, on charges of "violating the law on meetings and demonstrations", "resisting security forces to prevent them from doing their duty", "intentional wounding" and "damaging public property".

162 years for 12 people

In the second indictment, a total of 162 years in prison was requested for 12 prisoners.

In two separate indictments, a prison sentence of up to 567 years in total was requested for 42 prisoners.
