The Turkish regime’s political genocide against the Kurdish people continues unabated.

Cizre

Six people were taken into custody during house raids carried out by the police in Cizre district of Şırnak two days ago.

The arrests were made in the scope of an investigation into alleged “activity within YPS (Civil Defense Units) and Youth Organization”. The detainees have been referred to court earlier today.

While 4 of those arrested were released on condition of judicial control, two were remanded in custody for alleged “membership in a terrorist organization”.

Mersin

A Kurdish citizen by the name of Ciwan Tamur, who was taken into custody during house raids in the central Akdeniz district of Mersin on December 4, has been referred to court today.

The man was remanded in custody over alleged “membership in a terrorist organization”.
