Three-day march in Greece to protest the international conspiracy

“Time has come, rise up, break the isolation, free leader Apo,” is the main motto of the march in which hundreds are taking part.

A three-day march has been launched in Lavrio city of Greece, to the southeast of Athens, to condemn the February 15 international conspiracy against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan at its 20th anniversary.

The march, organized by the Revolutionary Youth Movement (Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger) and the Kurdish Cultural Center, kicked off at the refugee camp in Lavrio today.

“Time has come, rise up, break the isolation, free leader Apo,” is the main motto of the march in which hundreds are taking part.

Carrying Ocalan images as well as flags of PKK, KCK, HPG and YPG, the demonstrators condemn the criminalizing policies of German state against the Kurds.

Throughout their route, the activists are handing out informative leaflets and singing revolutionary Kurdish songs.

The marches also salute DTK Co-chair and HDP MP Leyla Guven who was hospitalized today, on the 98th day of her fast, chanting “Leyla Guven is our honor”.

The three-day march will resume towards Athens tomorrow.
