Three-day march for Ocalan in Hamburg

On Saturday, the marchers will take part in an action in front of the Sternschanze train station – the action is organized by German organizations, and aims to show solidarity with Rojava.

Today a three-day long march was launched in Hamburg, Germany in order to demand the removal of Abdullah Ocalan’s isolation, and to support the hunger strikers.

The long march in Hamburg was started in front of the train station in Neugraben. Fifty people from Hamburg and Kiel participate in the march.

Before the march, a minute of silence was observed in front of the train station, and speeches were delivered.

Imam Comert, the representative of the Kurdish Democratic Society Center (DTKM) in Hamburg, stated that they would continue their actions until the isolation in Imrali was removed.

During the march, the activists demanded freedom for Ocalan, often with slogans against the regime of Erdogan.

The first day of the march will end in Wilhelmsburg. A rally is planned for Friday morning at 10:00 in front of the Hamburg parliament.
