Thousands demand freedom for Öcalan in Rome

Thousands of people demanded freedom for Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan in Rome, capital of Italy.

Masses joined a march in Rome, capital of Italy to mark the 19th anniversary of the international conspiracy of 15 February against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

According to organizers, around 10 thousand people joined the march which was organized by the Kurdish Committee in Italy, Kurdistan Information Bureau and Rete Kurdistan that is made up of several Italian institutions.

Demonstrators chanted slogans in favor of Öcalan and the PKK, and condemned the Turkish state’s invasion operation against Afrin Canton of Northern Syria.
