30 people including 14 children were taken to prosecutor's office yesterday after being detained during the police interference on 7 January during the march and the press statement that were organized to call attention to the situation of DYG Yüksekova Spokesman Sedat Karadað who was reported shot by a gendarme bullet in Yüksekova district of Hakkari and started a hunger strike in in hospital. While 19 detainees including 11 children were released after giving statements at prosecutor’s office, 11 of the detainees including 3 children were remanded with arrest demand. While a person was released after the statement procedures that lasted until late, 10 of the detainees including 3 children were sent to prison with the allegations of "making propaganda for the organization" and "damaging the public property”.
