Syrian crisis can't be resolved without Autonomous Administration

Neumann stated that the successful experience in North and East Syria is an example for the Middle East, saying; “The solution of the Syrian crisis is not possible without the participation of the Autonomous Administration”.

Hannah Neumann, a member of the European Parliament, continues her talks in Northeast Syria. Following her meeting yesterday with non-governmental organizations affiliated to the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, MEP Hannah Neumann met Bedran Çiya Kurd, the deputy co-chair of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.

During the meeting, political developments in Syria and the current situation in Autonomous Administration regions were discussed. Bedran Çiya Kurd stated that the Turkish state poses a threat to the region and Europe due to its support to the gangs.

Emphasizing the importance of a common fight to stop the attacks of the Turkish state, Çiya Kurd pointed out that the Turkish state poses a threat to the whole Europe by supporting political Islam;“The terrorist attacks in France and Australia are the continuation of the Turkish state's decision to attack Northern and Eastern Syria.”

"TIME FOR THE EU TO LIMIT TURKEY’S HOSTILE POLICIES"

Stressing that the European Union should enforce limits on the aggressive attitude of the Turkish state, Çiya Kurd claimed that the Turkish state is also hostile to European countries.

In the meeting, the participants highlighted the importance for the Autonomous Administration to participate in efforts for a political solution. It was further made clear that a political solution without the Autonomous Administration would not be successful. It was also underlined the Autonomous Administration has established a democratic system in the region and it would be possible for oppressive systems to reappear in the absence of a political solution

Çiya Kurd said remarked that humanitarian, legal and social support should be given to the Autonomous Administration just like the support provided to the SDF by the International Coalition Against ISIS. He also remarked that military achievements must turn into political achievements.

"THE CRISIS CANNOT BE RESOLVED WITHOUT THE AUTONOMOUS ADMINISTRATION"

Stating that the Turkish state has caused great problems for the world, especially the European Union (EU), Hannah Neumann said, “The EU supports the Autonomous Administration's participation in the Geneva talks and political meetings held for the solution of the Syrian crisis. Because it is not possible to resolve the Syrian crisis without the participation of the Autonomous Administration.”

"AUTONOMOUS ADMINISTRATION A SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE”

Neumann described the Autonomous Administration as a successful experience, saying; “The Autonomous Administration is a very colorful example that includes all the peoples in the region and it also includes women in the administration. It is a very successful experience. Not only the region, but also Syria and the Middle East can benefit from this experience.”

"CLOSING TIL KOCHER IS A BAD DECISION"

Hannah Neumann stressed that European and western countries should attach importance to the Autonomous Administration regions, adding; “Closing the Til Kocher (Yarubiya) Border Crossing was a very bad decision. Support should be given to the Autonomous Administration as soon as possible. European parliamentarians will support the Autonomous Administration legally, politically and socially.”
